A noted author, public speaker, and television personality, Jami Cooley is the founder of Nutritional Nursing Specialists. With a background in nursing (focusing on oncology) and alternative health, Mrs. Cooley is uniquely qualified to assist you in making the correct choices in diet and supplements to gain a healthier and more fulfilling life.
Jami began her nursing career in 2002 and worked at Baylor University Medical Center of Dallas. She received chemotherapy and biotherapy certification at MD Anderson hospital in Houston, Texas. After a brief stint in chemotherapy administration, Jami began working with Doug Kaufmann, television host of “Know the Cause” and Dr. David Holland. It was during this time that Jami learned of diet’s role in preventing and treating disease. A quick study and a talented writer, Doug enlisted the help of Jami Cooley to write the bestseller “Eating Your Way To Good Health”, a recipe book for Kaufmann’s Phase One Diet.
Over the next year, Mrs. Cooley produced and wrote over 200 episodes of “Know the Cause”, culminating in a Telly award for outstanding television production. The award winning episode, “Your Fungal Quotient” centered around cancer therapy.
In the spring of 2005, Jami Cooley co-authored “The Fungus Link 3: Know the Cause” with Doug Kaufmann and David Holland, M.D. “The Fungus Link 3” further expands on the health problems caused by fungal toxins in our food, air and antibiotic medications. The book sold over a thousand copies in its first month of release.
Jami is currently working on a children’s book, slated for release in 2007.
A wife and mother of two daughters, Jami Cooley is an active member of her church and volunteers at various shelters and clinics in the Dallas metroplex.
